First they scapegoated the gays, and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t gay.
Then they scapegoated the immigrants, and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t an immigrant.
Then they scapegoated the unionist, and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t in a union.
Then they scapegoated the public servants, and I didn’t speak out because I wasn’t a public servant.
Then they scapegoated me and there was no one left to speak out for me.
